Aimee earned her Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2001, where she distinguished herself as Associate Editor of the Quinnipiac Probate Journal and received recognition for Outstanding Legal Scholarship. Her passion for legal research and writing was further demonstrated through her published work on estate planning and probate law. Prior to law school, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia in 1998, where she developed a strong foundation in critical thinking and analytical reasoning—skills that continue to inform her legal practice today.

Experience
With extensive experience in municipal law, real estate transactions and business law, Aimee has built a reputation for delivering practical and effective legal solutions. She is the Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Norwich. She represents clients in real estate transactions, which include conducting real estate closings; preparing lease agreements; evictions of tenants on behalf of landlords and foreclosures on behalf of lenders. Her representation of clients in business services includes forming limited liability companies and corporations and drafting contracts. In addition, she has extensive knowledge of acquiring liquor permits for restaurants and cafes.
Community and Civic Organizations
Aimee is deeply engaged in the local community and professional organizations; she has lived and practiced in the City of Norwich for over twenty years. She is on the Board of Directors for Eastern Connecticut Housing Opportunities; on the Board of Corporators for Norwich Free Academy and on the Board of Directors for United Community and Family Services. She is actively involved in the Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce and the Eastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce. Her dedication to civic engagement reflects her belief in giving back and supporting the communities she serves.
