P. Michael Lahan

Attorney P. Michael Lahan is a graduate of Boston College and the University of Connecticut, School of Law.  Attorney Lahan began his practice in 1969 in Norwich at Brown, Jacobson, Jewett, and Laudone, P.C., despite the fact that he was still draft eligible for the Vietnam War.  Shortly after starting his practice, Michael was drafted and served two years in Vietnam.  Michael returned to Norwich after his service, ultimately leading the firm's Estate Planning and Probate Administration practices while also becoming a Named Partner and serving as Firm President. In 2000, Michael opened the firm now known as Lahan & King, LLC, dedicating his practice exclusively to Estate Planning (Wills & Trust), Probate Administration, and Elder Law. Michael passed away in 2023 after being diagnosed with leukemia.

Daniel L. King

Attorney

 Attorney Daniel L. King joined P. Michael Lahan in 2018 after beginning his legal career working at a Big 4 accounting firm and a larger general practice law firm.  Growing up just outside of Norwich, Daniel is a proud native of Southeastern Connecticut and serves the community through various boards and committees. Daniel serves as the Chair of the Jackson T. King Memorial Golf Tournament, in honor of his father who passed away from melanoma in 2016. To date the tournament has donated over $250,000 to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital and Smilow Cancer Center in Waterford.  Daniel was named a partner in 2020 and the firm was renamed to Lahan & King, LLC.  Daniel’s practice is also dedicated to Estate Planning (Wills & Trusts), Probate Administration, and Elder Law.
