Attorney P. Michael Lahan began practicing law in 1969 after graduating from Boston College and the University of Connecticut, School of Law. After law school, Attorney Lahan began his Norwich practice at Brown, Jacobson, Jewett, and Laudone, P.C., despite the fact that he was still draft eligible for the Vietnam War. Shortly after starting his practice, Michael was drafted and served two years in Vietnam. True to their word, his partners promised to keep his position open while he served and so Michael returned to Norwich after his service. Michael ultimately led the firm's Estate Planning and Probate Administration practice while also serving as President of the firm. In 2000, Michael opened The Law Office of P. Michael Lahan, dedicated exclusively to Estate Planning (Wills & Trust), Probate Administration, and Elder Law.
Attorney Daniel L. King joined The Law Office of P. Michael Lahan in 2018 after spending time working at a Big 4 accounting firm and a large general practice law firm. Growing up outside of Norwich, Daniel is a proud native of Southeastern Connecticut and serves the community through various boards and committees, including as Chair of the Jackson T. King Memorial Golf Tournament in honor of his father who passed away from cancer in 2016. To date the tournament has donated over $180,000 to Smilow Cancer Hospital and Smilow Cancer Center in Waterford. In 2020, Daniel partnered with Michael Lahan and the firm name was changed to Lahan & King, LLC. Daniel’s practice is also dedicated to Estate Planning (Wills & Trusts), Probate Administration, and Elder Law.
